TMP Award 2010
Acorn Farm has made history by being the first project ever to win the award two years running for the Best Small Visitor Attraction in the prestigious Mersey Partnership Tourism awards.
A spokesperson for Acorn Farm said “We are all so thrilled to win this award again. When we won it last year after five years of making the shortlist we were delighted but to win it again is incredible and is recognition of all the hard work and commitment which goes in to the project from staff and volunteers. “ The panel of judges said that ‘Inspiring entry, excellent presented. A strong focus on the environment and sustainability. Good customer engagement using e-mail and social media’
By winning this award Acorn Farm will in the autumn represent Merseyside in the England’s North West Regional Awards competing against the winners from Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester in the category of Best Small Visitor Attraction. The winner qualifies for a place at the subsequent National Awards.
Outstanding Contribution to Customer Service
Tracy at Acorn Farm took first prize at an award ceremony for the Outstanding Contribution to Customer Service in Knowsley at the Knowsley Partnership Board Business Awards. The award reflects our high standards not just as a visitor attraction, but also in our staff, to ensure you as a visitor have the best experience from a farm attraction as possible.
We also was highly commended for the Best Visitor Economy Business award.
Best Small Visitor Attraction Award 2009(TMP)
Acorn Farm took first prize at an award ceremony for the 'Best Small Visitor Attraction Award' in Merseyside. As you can imagine we are delighted to have won this award after being runners up for five years in a row. The award reflects our commitment to keep improving our farm to offer the best possible small visitor attraction in Merseyside.

Best Tourism Website 2008 (TMP)
Acorn Farm took first prize at an award ceremony for the best tourism website in Merseyside. We are proud to announce that ourselves and Forte Trinity (our web designers) won the prestigious tourism award at a ceremony hosted by the BBC presenter Ranvir Singh at the BT Convention Centre on 28th May 2008.
