Horses
My name is William and I am 15 years old. I moved to Acorn Farm in October and I enjoy giving rides to visitors at the weekends, during school holidays and also doing the riding for the disabled lessons on Fridays.
£50 per sponsor.
Goats
My name is Dora. I’m the naughty goat that helps herself to your bags of animal feed! Would you like to sponsor me and my friends?
£30 per sponsor.
Pygmy Goats
Our names are Daisy and Lottie. We are two Pygmy Goats that live at Acorn Farm. We love to play on our slide and be petted by visitors.
£40 per sponsor.
Sheep
Our names are Molly & Muriel. We are twin Herdwick sheep born in June 2005. We were orphaned at our home in the Lake District and came to live here where we were hand reared. As we get older our fleeces (wool) will change from black to grey. Here we are in the summer just after having a ‘haircut’! We have lots of sheep and lamb friends to sponsor.
£25 per sponsor.
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
There are lots of rabbits at Acorn Farm. We all enjoy being groomed and meeting the visitors to the farm. We have lots of guinea pig friends too.
£15 per sponsor.
Ducks
Our names are Donald & Daisy. We are Indian Runner Ducks (that means we are very tall to look at when we are walking or running). Some of our friends are Muscovy and Aylesbury ducks. Would you like to sponsor us?
£15 per sponsor.
Cockerels and Hens
I am a Polish bantam, I live on Acorn Farm with some of my friends, which are fancy cockerels and hens. We are very proud of our plumage, so if you would like to sponsor us we will look stunning for your photograph.
£15 per sponsor.
