Welcome to Acorn Farm! Our dear pig Doris birthed 12 adorable piglets. Mum and babies are doing just fine… but their pen just got a whole lot busier and cuter! Well done Doris!

Please welcome our two new lambs… the first of more to come! One lamb is a girl, the other a boy. They are under the watchful eye of their mother in our lambing shed. How cute!

Thank you very much to the generous customers of Home Bargains Linkway West, St Helens for your donations, and a big thank you to the staff for facilitating the collection! We managed to raise £104! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

We have a new addition to Acorn Farm! One of our sheep birthed an adorable lamb over the weekend… take a look and see how sweet they are! This little lamb is being watched over by their mother while they both relax in our lambing shed. Baa!

Pop down and take a look at our plant sales area… we are selling beautiful primroses for only 80p each, or 6 for £4! What a bargain that is! Our primroses are available in a variety of eye-catching colours. Perfect for brightening up your garden. Please come down and treat yourself to some!

We have a special offer on Friday 16th January! Join our drop-in petting sessions (10:30am-12:30pm) to cuddle rabbits, guinea pigs and more… free with admission! But that isn’t all. Running all day on Friday 16th January is a cafe deal… free child’s beans on toast or picnic plate with an adult meal. Make sure you don’t miss out! See you then!

We can’t wait to see everyone during the February Half-Term! The School Holidays will be from Monday 16th February until Friday 20th February. We will be running horse rides and small animal petting sessions through the week, as well as a farm experience day on Thursday 19th February. Make sure you email Marie through education@acornfarm.co.uk to book your place!

Here is our events schedule for December 2025! Tickets for Santa’s Grotto have sold out, but please remember, we are running a Tot’s Grotto on Tuesday 16th December! Email admin@acornfarm.co.uk to book your tickets. We also look forward to seeing everyone for our Christmas Market and tombola on Sunday 14th, and there is no need to book tickets! Just turn up and pay for admission as usual!

We have welcomed quails to Acorn Farm! While we have to keep all of our birds behind closed doors for the foreseeable future, this hasn’t stopped our quails from laying their delicious eggs! We sell these eggs in half-dozen packs for only £1 in our shop.

We have welcomed two new female meerkats to our recently expanded meerkat enclosure. We ran a competition to have this adorable pair named, and after a suggestion was left in our shop we settled on… Willow and Izzy! Please give a warm welcome to this delightful duo!

Our Santa’s Grotto will be open on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December, Tickets are on sale from our farm shop or by emailing admin@acornfarm.co.uk.

Our Pig, Doris, has given birth to thirteen adorable piglets. They have already started trotting around their pen, exploring their new environment and taking in the world around them.

Please come down sometime and meet our new arrivals!

To celebrate this milestone birthday we are having a farm fun day on the 26th of July! 

Come along and join in with the fun, no pre-booking necessary!

Must be SENSIBLE & SAFE 14.2-15.2hh Gelding Cob type horse, aged 15yrs +.

We are very proud to say that Oak Tree Café has maintained a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating by the Food Standards Agency/KMBC.
